North Georgia built a commanding advantage and went into halftime up 37-12 after shooting 14-for-27 from the floor.
Georgia College outscored UNG 20-12 in the third quarter, but the Nighthawks halted the momentum. The highlight of the period came with 7:06 remaining, when
Kendall Emener drilled the first three-pointer of her career. The teams traded baskets in the fourth, but UNG maintained control, leading by as many as 23 with 1:43 left to seal the win.
Jaleah Storr anchored the defense and narrowly missed a double-double, finishing with 10 rebounds and nine points. The Nighthawks placed four players in double figures, led by
Hannah Cail and
Averie Jones with 11 points apiece, while Simmons and McGlockton added 10 each.
With the win, UNG moved to 11-5 overall and remain perfect (6-0) in PBC play.
