How Storr got to UNG
Jaleah Storr joins the Nighthawks this season after transferring to UNG from Peach Belt Conference rival Georgia College last season. With the Bobcats, Storr averaged 7.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 28 games in her lone season with the program. Storr's collegiate career originally started at another PBC member in Georgia Southwestern. With the Hurricanes she was the PBC 2020-21 Freshman of the Year after dropping 13.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest. Storr added value on the defensive end of the floor as well, averaging 1.5 steals per night. Storr said that her experience playing against UNG aided in her path to Dahlonega this season. "Playing against UNG was always fun. Coach always let me know how outstanding of a player I was when we played against them. So, when they reached out I knew that I would be going to a program where the coach believed in me and we could do big things," said Storr. Jaleah also grew up participating in softball, tennis, lacrosse, swimming, soccer and volleyball. Her father, Jesse, played football collegiately at Division I Central Michigan University.
