University of North Georgia Athletics

In 2025, University of North Georgia Athletics shifted to a centralized equipment & apparel model. Equipment & apparel play an essential part in making sure our Nighthawk student-athletes, staff and coaches are well suited for game day, practice and travel. The equipment staff handles the equipment purchasing, maintenance, distribution, storage and other assorted details for all 13 intercollegiate athletic programs at UNG. 

Since 2018, Nike has been the University of North Georgia’s official uniform, apparel and accessory provider as part of an exclusive apparel and sponsorship agreement through BSN. The agreement with Nike provides North Georgia with a continued and consistent look, design and coloring across each of the Nighthawks' 13 intercollegiate programs.

The equipment staff manages all aspects of apparel including the Nike sideline offering worn by the Nighthawk teams and the Nighthawk Collection which is an exclusive high-end apparel line with a custom tag and branded label.

In addition to the full-time staff personnel, the equipment staff is assisted by numerous student-managers who are assigned a sport and are responsible for the daily maintenance, organizing, storing and laundry of the athletics equipment.
