DAHLONEGA - University of North Georgia (UNG) guard Averie Jones has been named to the 2025-26 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region Second Team, recognizing one of the top individual seasons in the region.
Jones earned the honor after a standout campaign in which she led the Nighthawks in scoring and established herself as one of the Peach Belt Conference's most dangerous perimeter shooters.
The guard appeared in and started 31 games, averaging 32.9 minutes per game while leading the team with 17.5 points per contest, a mark that ranked second in the Peach Belt Conference. Jones also paced the conference in three-point shooting and knocked down 88 three-pointers, the second-most in a single season in program history.
Her performance throughout the year also earned her First Team All-Peach Belt Conference honors.
