VISITING TEAM EVENT SERVICES

Preferred Accommodations & Meals/Catering
Nighthawk Athletics is pleased to have partnered with Virtelle Properties to offer two hotels Holiday Inn Express - University Area (Dahlonega) and Comfort Suites (Dahlonega) to be the preferred host hotels of our visitors that chose to stay in downtown Dahlonega. It is important to mention UNG Athletics when making a reservation. Both properties are located less than a mile from the UNG campus and athletic facilities. These deeply discounted rates are only available to visiting teams of UNG Athletics through this link. Additionally, if so desired we are glad to make recommendations for catered and delivered post-game meals options with some of our corporate partners that serve in this space.

Sports Medicine
In order to better accommodate the needs of your student-athletes, please notify us if your team will be traveling without an athletic trainer and send a taping list with detailed instructions for those student-athletes who need to be taped. Please send a medical kit containing all necessary supplies (tape, padding, etc.) with your team. Modalities will only be made available for those teams traveling with an athletic trainer. We do not have x-ray capabilities on campus, however a physician is on call for all home athletic contests. Our local staff includes a general medicine physician and an orthopedic physician. Northeast Georgia Health System is the official healthcare partner UNG Athletics and has both urgent care and hospital facilities located in Dahlonega. Link: Visiting Team Sports Medicine Guide

Ticketing
Ticketing is offered in a fully digital model with tickets on sale for $10 for single game general admission. Seniors ages 65 or older, middle and high school students and military members can purchase discounted single game tickets at $7 each. All tickets must be purchased online as there will be no cash transactions. For those fans that have not purchased tickets prior to arrival at the venue, QR codes will be available to scan at the gates that will direct you to purchase your tickets online at our digital box office at UNGAthletics.com/Tickets. Event staff will be on site to assist with ticket purchases.

Athletic Communications
Please advise if any media or communications staff from your institution is planning on attending in person so that we can have credentials at Will Call and working space available with appropriate venue access. Please send any game notes packages and roster pronunciation guides at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled contest.

Creative Services/Photography
Creative services staff must wear UNG Athletics-issued MEDIA vests or have the appropriate credentials to access the facility. All photography must occur from the NCAA-approved bunkers. UNG Athletics also has preferred photography vendors if those outsourced services are desired.

Nighthawk Sports Network
Baseball games are carried live by the Nighthawk Sports Network and are simulcast through video stream and radio and allows fans to watch events live and on demand in crystal clear high definition on computers, smartphones, tablets and smart televisions or any HDTV with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku or any major game console.

Pets
With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in any section of University of North Georgia athletic facilities. Our pet policy is a mandated university-wide policy that was established for the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors, and for the protection, efficient use and enjoyment of the campuses by ensuring that pets do not become a threat, health hazard, nuisance or distraction to University events. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.
