MORROW, Ga. – The University of North Georgia women's basketball team could not overcome a 17-point halftime deficit in their 64-54 loss against Clayton State. The Nighthawks outscored CSU in the third and fourth quarters, but the 17 deficit from the second quarter was just out of reach for a UNG comeback.
Caroline Martin finished with 21 points in the game. Martin was able to get to the free throw line often in the game, causing foul trouble for the Lakers.

The Nighthawks drop to 15-7 overall, and 7-6 in Peach Belt Conference play.
