AUGUSTA, Ga. – A fourth-quarter comeback for Augusta ended in a 72-61 road loss for the University of North Georgia women's basketball team.
Caroline Martin led the way offensively for the Nighthawks scoring 20 points, but North Georgia struggled from beyond the arc, making three of their 17 attempts.
Niyah Lutz finished as the only other Nighthawk in double-digit scoring with 14 points, making six of her 11 attempts. Martin led the team in rebounds with nine. North Georgia moves to 14-6 and 6-5 in Peach Belt Conference play.
