COLUMBUS, Ga. – The No. 15 University of North Georgia women's basketball team struggled in the second half of its 64-52 Peach Belt Conference loss at Columbus State. The North Georgia defense allowed the Nighthawks to hold a seven-point lead at halftime, but a lack of offensive output doomed UNG late.
Caroline Martin led the offense, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds, while
Kaylee Sticker added a double-double of her own, finishing with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Niyah Lutz and Carley Fahey rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 and 10, respectively.
The loss drops UNG to 14-3 overall and 6-2 in league play.
