DAHLONEGA – The No. 19 University of North Georgia women's basketball team fell in their midweek Peach Belt Conference matchup versus Young Harris on Wednesday in Lynn Cottrell Arena at the UNG Convocation Center. The Nighthawks failed to withstand a late surge by the Mountain Lions, falling 65-61.
Caroline Martin led the team offensively, scoring 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting, adding seven assists.
Kaylee Sticker was the only other double-digit scorer, making four shots on six attempts to finish with 11 points. The Nighthawks move to 14-4 overall and 6-3 in PBC play, and it was the second straight loss this season.
