DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia baseball team fell Tuesday evening at the hands of Montevallo, 12-2, at Bob Stein Stadium.
The Falcons did all of their scoring in three innings, scoring three in the second, five in the fourth and four in the fifth. North Georgia got their first base runner of the contest in the fourth inning on a Montevallo error and their first hit of the game in the seventh on a
Will Hardigree pinch hit single.
North Georgia got runners aboard in the latter innings, plating a pair in the ninth on RBI singles from
Jorge Arispuro and
Parker Ingram to get to the final score.
NOTES
- Hardigree finished the day 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of singles.
- Montevallo's Logan Samuels earned the win, going five innings of no-hit baseball, striking out six.
