DAHLONEGA – Three student-athletes from the University of North Georgia (UNG) baseball team were named to the 2026 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
The PBC All-Academic Team, formerly known as the Team of Academic Distinction, recognizes student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. To earn recognition, student-athletes must participate in at least half of their team's events as a starter or significant contributor, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
JD Coleman, a Clyo, Ga. native and management major, posted a 3.77 GPA.
Out of Broxton, Ga., Brady Skipper, a finance major, earned All-Academic honors with a 3.51 GPA.
Rhaylin Carvajal rounded out the recognitions for the Nighthawks. The Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native earned a 3.51 GPA while majoring in film and digital media.
