Tim Conway RBI single in the eighth was the difference as the University of North Georgia baseball team took down Montevallo, 5-3, Wednesday afternoon.
Montevallo was the first to strike, hitting a pair of homers in the third inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Nighthawks answered in the bottom of the fourth, tying the game on a
Crews Taylor RBI single and taking the lead after
Kaleb Freeman drew a bases loaded walk to take a 3-2 lead.
The Falcons tied things up in the seventh on a RBI single, but Conway's two run base hit in the eighth pushed North Georgia in front where they earned the win.

Jake Arnold (2-0) earned the win in relief, tossing 2.1 innings of shutout baseball with three strikeouts.
- Conway finished the day 3-for-4 at the plate, while
Connor Frost ended 2-for-3.
