ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The No. 25 University of North Georgia baseball team fell in its Peach Belt Conference series opener at Flagler Saturday afternoon, 6-3.
Nik Levensteins got North Georgia on the board in the top of the first, plating a pair of runs on a single and a Saint error. Flagler got one of the runs back in the bottom of the frame on a RBI double and then tied the game in the second on a RBI groundout.
The Saints took the lead in the third, scoring a run on a Nighthawk error before a two run blast later in the inning pushed the lead out to 5-2. FC scored on a passed ball in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead before UNG answered with a sacrifice fly from
Kaleb Freeman in the fifth.
NOTES
- North Georgia had just two hits and drew 10 walks.

Cade Heil (3-2) was saddled with the loss, pitching 4.1 innings and striking out a pair. The Nighthawk bullpen combined to give up just two hits and a walk over the remaining 3.2 innings.
