Nighthawks Suffer First Defeat of Season On The Road Versus Carson-Newman

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – A sluggish second half doomed the No. 3 University of North Georgia women's basketball team in their 92-61 road loss at Carson-Newman. The Nighthawks held a 37-36 lead at the halftime break, but C-N controlled the second half to hand the Nighthawks their first loss of the season.

Caroline Martin led UNG in scoring with 15 points tallying four assists and three rebounds. Josie Earnhardt scored 13 points in the contest, good for second on the team. 

Kaylee Sticker and Lizzie Campbell led the team on the glass, corralling seven rebounds each. C-N had five different players score double-digit points in the game.
