Game Preview: The University of North Georgia women's soccer team returns home for two matches this week, starting with a Wednesday afternoon matchup with Clayton State. The Nighthawks will then host nationally-ranked Flagler Saturday.
Promotions: Wednesday's match will also serve as Make-A-Wish Day at UNG as the Nighthawk Athletic Department welcomes Luke England as a special guest at the match. UNG is calling for a camo night in support of Luke.

Rankings: North Georgia fell one spot to No. 20 in the United Soccer Coaches poll. Flagler is also in the poll, holding at No. 4.
Last Week: The Nighthawks split their matches last week, defeating Anderson, 3-0, before falling to Lander Saturday, 2-1.
Clayton State: Clayton State is 5-4-1 on the year and 2-3-1 in Peach Belt play. The Lakers are coming off of a 3-1 loss to UNC Pembroke on Sunday. Janne Brouer leads CSU in goals scored with five, while Manoly Baquerizo leads the Lakers in points with four goals and three assists. North Georgia is 9-8-3 all-time versus Clayton State, only having lost two of the last 12 matchups with the Lakers. The Nighthawks are 6-1-1 at home with the lone loss coming in 2006, the first time Clayton State visited Dahlonega.
Flagler: Flagler is 12-0 on the year and 6-0 in league play headed into a Wednesday night matchup against Georgia Southwestern. The Saints are tied atop the PBC table with UNG with a match in hand. Sarah-Lisa Dubel is the goalkeeper for FC, allowing just seven goals while making 37 saves. Sara Sandberg and Charlene Nowotny are having outstanding seasons with Sandberg scoring 15 goals and seven assists. Nowotny has nine goals and 14 assists. The Nighthawks are 9-2-1 against Flagler all-time but fell in last year's matchup, 3-1, at Saints Field. UNG is 6-1 in Dahlonega all-time, falling in the last matchup at home, 3-2.
Statistics: North Georgia ranks first in the league in goals-against-average, save percentage and shutout percentage. UNG is second in the PBC in assists per game, points per game and total assists while ranking third in goals per game, total goals and total points. Morgan Ramby leads the Peach Belt in goals-against-average at .408 and save percentage at .852. Taylor Malasek is second in the league and is sixth in the nation in game-winners with four. She is third in the league in goals scored.
