DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia (UNG) men's and women's soccer programs were recognized for their academic success as United Soccer Coaches announced its College Team Academic Award recipients for the 2025-26 academic year.

Both Nighthawk programs earned the prestigious award, which recognizes college soccer teams that demonstrate exemplary performance in the classroom.

A total of 777 soccer teams across the country, 326 men's programs and 451 women's programs, earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award after posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.

North Georgia was among 175 schools nationwide to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized with the award.

The honor continues a strong tradition of academic achievement for the Nighthawk soccer programs, highlighting the commitment of North Georgia student-athletes to success both on the field and in the classroom.
