Smith was the North Georgia women's soccer program's first-ever NCAA All-American and she is the only student-athlete in program history to earn All-America honors twice in her career (2009 and 2010). Smith was named to the Peach Belt All-Conference team on three occasions. In her senior season, she led the PBC in assists with 18 and was named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week in the same season. She led the nation in assists per game with 0.9 in 2010 as well. Smith was named second-team NSCAA All-American and third-team Daktronics All-American in her senior year. She finished her playing career holding the PBC career assists record with 44 assists in four years, a record that still stands today.
