GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The No. 2 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team finished in second place out of an elite field of 15 teams while hosting the 4th Annual Mizuno Intercollegiate at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga. Tuesday afternoon.

His tournament score of seven-under landed him in a tie for first place among the 81 players in the field. No. 3 Lincoln Memorial's Morgan Cain eventually took home individual medalist honors in a playoff.

Senior Hunter Smith put together the sixth top-10 performance of his career, finishing in 10th place at two-under for the tournament.

Junior Grant Langford carded the best final-round of any Nighthawk on Tuesday. With a bogey-free, three-under 69 the LaFayette, Ga. native climbed 21 spots up the leaderboard to land in 35th place at 4-over.

Junior Rhett Smith concluded the tournament with a 3-over 75 to finish in 39th place at 5-over individually.
