Biography

How Rowe got to UNG
Jack Rowe joined the Nighthawks in 2024 after having graduated from Habersham Central High School in Mt. Airy, Ga. His senior year, Rowe was named the BLITZ Golfer of the Year for the third consecutive season. He's the first boys golfer in the history of the award, which started back in 2010, to win the honor three times. Rowe finished T8 in the 6A Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Championship in 2024. The tournament was held at Chattahoochee Golf club, a familiar place for UNG as it has been the host site of the Nighthawks' yearly event, the Annual Mizuno Intercollegiate, and was the host of the 2024 South/Southeast Regional hosted by UNG. Rowe has a winning pedigree at Chattahoochee beyond the state tournament. In 2023, he finished second on the Chattahoochee Junior Classic on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour. In 2023, as a junior, Rowe finished T15 in the same event. The year prior, the sophomore finished in fourth place on the individual leaderboard, ending his tournament at one-over-par with rounds of 72 and 73. Rowe said that UNG "was a great fit and [Worley] made me feel the most welcome."
