DAHLONEGA - Junior Riley Frost collected four RBIs to help propel the University of North Georgia to a series sweep of No. 13 Quincy with a 15-4 win on Sunday at Bob Stein Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.

Junior Daniel Courtney (1-0) started on the mound and picked up the win for North Georgia (8-1). The left-hander went six innings, giving up just one run on four hits, allowing two walks and striking out three.
Senior Jacob Lassiat also made an impact on the mound for the Nighthawks, throwing two shutout innings while allowing one hit, with no walks and two strikeouts.

Frost went 2-for-4 with a double in addition to his four RBIs for the Nighthawks. Sophomore Jace Bowen put together a standout day at the dish as well, going 1-for-2 with a triple, two walks and three RBI.
Sophomore Andrews Opata also contributed with three hits in four trips to the plate while adding two doubles and a walk.

The Nighthawks scored in six different innings on the way to the win. UNG jumped out to a 4-0 lead through five innings and never looked back.
After Quincy was able to close the gap with three runs in the seventh, North Georgia put the game away with four runs in the bottom half and another two in the eighth.
The win improves UNG to 8-1 on the season as the Nighthawks return to action next weekend with a series at Georgia College & State University. The three-game set with the Bobcats will count as non-conference games.Â
