GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 20 University of North Georgia men's tennis team fell in its Peach Belt Conference road match at 11th-ranked Lander on Friday (Mar. 24) night. The Nighthawks took the doubles point but fell short in the singles portion falling by one.
Daniel Ostap and
Christopher Cahour were the lone Nighthawks to earn a win in the singles portion with Ostap taking a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory in the #2 flight while Cahour earned a 6-3, 4-7, 6-1 win in the #4 flight.
Joaquin Benoit and
Cole Brainard earned one of the two doubles wins, taking a 6-4 victory while
Robin Eldin and Eliseo Alcade took a 6-2 victory.

The Nighthawks will look to kick their three match skid when they host Flagler (10-4) on Apr. 1 at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park for a Peach Belt Conference matchup in their first home match since Feb. 18, ending a nine-match road trip.
