The Latest on Alcalde
Eliseo Alcalde is coming off a very strong sophomore campaign and looking to step into a large role in the 2024-25 season. Last year, Alcalde went 12-6 in singles as a sophomore for the Nighthawks. He primarily played in the #6 spot in the lineup, and went 11-4 in matches when he did. In doubles, Acalde teamed up with Christopher Cahour for 10 matches, going 5-5 in that stretch. He went 6-5 in total in doubles last year. A former National Champion in his home country of Argentina, Alcalde is the only remaining Argentinian on the roster after fellow countryman and high school teammate Joaquin Benoit graduated last May.
