PENSACOLA, Fla. – In a neutral site matchup at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex, the No. 14 University of North Georgia men's tennis team fell to 22nd-ranked West Alabama (10-3), 4-2. The Nighthawks dropped the doubles point before falling in four of the six singles matches.
Joaquin Benoit and
Giulio Sassi earned the two victories for North Georgia in singles, with Benoit moving to a 7-1 record in singles, winning the #1 flight, earning a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory. Sassi grabbed his fifth win of the season in the #6 flight, taking a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
