CLINTON, S.C. – The No. 11 University of North Georgia men's tennis team fell to Presbyterian 6-1 in a Sunday afternoon road match. The Nighthawks move to 3-2 overall, with their two losses coming to NCAA Division I opponents.
Presbyterian (6-7) took the doubles point, but
Joaquin Benoit and
Cole Brainard won in the #1 flight, opening up the match with a 6-2 win over the 30th-ranked NCAA DI doubles team. Brainard moved on to singles, finishing as the only Nighthawk with a win in singles, defeating Denim Yadav 7-6, 6-1.
