YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – A 16-point offensive output in the first half put the University of North Georgia in a deficit they could not overcome in their 59-45 Peach Belt Conference road loss at Young Harris. The Nighthawks shot 28.8 percent from the field in the game and just 2-of-16 (13%) from beyond the arc.
Caroline Martin led the team in scoring with 14 points, adding four rebounds and two steals.
Ava Hunter finished with a career-high in scoring, finishing second on the team with 11 points.
Kayla Massop finished one rebound shy of a double-double, scoring 10 points with nine rebounds.
North Georgia moves to 16-8 overall and 8-7 in Peach Belt Conference play.
