GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - After dropping behind 2-0, the No. 7 University of North Georgia men's tennis team came back to defeat No. 33 Tusculum, 4-3, Friday afternoon.

Cole Brainard got UNG off on the right foot with a quick 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, but Tusculum responded with the other two doubles lines to take a 1-0 lead. The Pioneers won at No. 3 singles in three sets to take a 2-0 lead before North Georgia scratched the scoreboard.
Joaquin Benoit won in come from behind fashion on the top line, 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-3, to get the Nighthawks on the board. Brainard also had a comeback at No. 5 to tie the match, winning 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Ostap gave the Nighthawks the lead shortly after, winning at No. 4 by a 7-5, 6-4 decision before
Giulio Sassi won UNG the match with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 6.
North Georgia will travel to Georgia College Tuesday to get back into Peach Belt play. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
