DAHLONEGA – A back-and-forth battle ended with the fourth-ranked University of North Georgia women's basketball team on top of Lincoln Memorial in a 68-60 win for UNG at Lynn Cottrell Arena in the UNG Convocation Center.
Kaylee Sticker scored 13 of North Georgia's first 17 points to lead the Nighthawks in scoring.
Sticker added seven rebounds to her 19 points, good for third on the team.
Caroline Martin led the team in rebounds (11) and finished with her first double-double of the season, scoring 15 points. Martin and Sticker have both scored double digits in each of the last two games.
Niyah Lutz (12) and
Kayla Massop (11) joined the pair in double-digit scoring to round out the top four scorers. Lutz added two steals on the defensive side while Massop corralled eight rebounds in the contest.

- North Georgia jumped out to a 15-3 lead early on behind Sticker's quick start.
- LMU would answer, ending the first quarter on a 13-2 run to bring the game to 17-16.
- Back-to-back three pointers for North Georgia by Livi Blackstock and Josie Earnhardt brought the UNG lead to eight at the 1:43 mark, the Railsplitters scored five straight to end the half to head into the break down by three.
- LMU took a five point lead with 6:14 left in the third quarter after two Saquita Joyner free throws.
- There were two lead changes in the final six minutes of the third quarter before ending the third period with a tie game, knotted at 48-48.
- The Nighthawks finished the game on an 8-0 run to break the 60-60 tie and pull away from LMU, 68-60. Lutz and Martin combined to each score four of the final eight points.
