Alejandro DeVillena and Joe McInnes each scored a goal to try and keep UNG's season alive, but the Lakers' four goals were too many to overcome.

McInnes scored late in the second half with a 42nd-minute goal off an assist from Dawid Zajac. The halftime whistle would blow, and both teams went into the locker room with the Lakers holding a 3-1 lead.

DeVillena would connect the other half of a Payge Sinclair free kick, and the duo would cut the deficit down to 4-2 with 23 minutes left in the game.
