DAHLONEGA - The No. 24 University of North Georgia baseball team will open up a three game set against Georgia College Saturday afternoon in Milledgeville.
North Georgia debuted in the NCBWA Top 25 at No. 24 after a three game sweep over Francis Marion last weekend at Bob Stein Stadium.
Georgia College is 3-0 on the year after a sweep of Claflin in their opening weekend. The Bobcats were ranked No. 8 in the Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll. GC swept last year's series in Dahlonega before the COVID-19 shutdown.
Spectators will be allowed inside the stadium up to about 30 percent capacity. Fans will be required to wear masks covering their nose and mouth at all GC Athletics facilities, and be expected to follow social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC. Hand sanitizer will be available at all athletic facilities, and concession stands will not be open for any Bobcat Athletic event.
