Game Preview: The University of North Georgia men's soccer team continues its three-game road trip by traveling to Southern Wesleyan Wednesday night before a Saturday evening showdown at Montevallo.

Last Week: The Nighthawks fell in both matches last week, losing to Lee at home, 2-0, before a 6-0 loss Friday night at Alabama-Huntsville.
Southern Wesleyan: Southern Wesleyan is 1-4 on the year with their lone win coming in a 2-0 victory over USC Aiken. The two goals scored against the Pacers are the Warriors' only two goals of the season. Grant Kiker and Noah Sims were the two goal scorers in that match. UNG is 6-2 all-time against Southern Wesleyan and are in the midst of a four-game winning streak. The Nighthawks are 3-2 in Central, South Carolina, winning three in a row on the road.
Montevallo: Montevallo is 2-2-1 headed into a Wednesday night matchup with Saint Leo. The Falcons defeated Clayton State, 1-0, and have lost to Francis Marion, 2-0, most recently in 2019. Nemanja Acimovic leads UM in goals scored with three of the five Falcons goals to his credit. The Falcons lead the all-time series over North Georgia, 9-3-2, but the two teams have split the last six meetings with each team winning on their home pitch. UNG won last season, 2-1, but the Nighthawks have never earned a result on the road, going 0-7 in Montevallo.
Statistics: North Georgia ranks first in the Peach Belt and 14th in Division II in saves per game at 6.67. The Nighthawks rank third in the PBC and 30th nationally in shots per game, firing 16.33 shots toward the net per match. Luis Lepervanche is third in the league in saves with 22.
