Last Week: The Nighthawks opened the season with a 1-0-1 start, earning a draw with Lincoln Memorial in the season opener before defeating North Greenville, 2-0, Monday night in the UNG Soccer Complex.

Emmanuel: Emmanuel is 1-1 so far this season, falling 4-0 at No. 5 Young Harris before taking a 2-1 win over Tusculum. The Lions scored both goals against the Pioneers in the second half, one by Shane Cronin and the game-winner by Jeremy Gwaltney. North Georgia is 5-2 against Emmanuel all-time, but the Lions won the last meeting a year ago, 3-1. Emmanuel scored two goals in the first half and added an insurance goal in the second half to secure the win and snap a five-match losing streak against UNG. The Nighthawks are 2-1 in Franklin Springs all-time.

Anderson: Anderson is also 1-1 to start the season headed into a Wednesday night match at Lees-McRae. The Trojans fell 2-1 to Clayton State in the opener before downing Southern Wesleyan, 2-0, two days later. Juniors Lucas Mostajo and Alexander Cox-Ashwood each scored against the Warriors. The Nighthawks are 5-4-1 against the Trojans, winning the last match, 2-1, at the start of the season a year ago. North Georgia has had great success in Anderson, taking points in five of the six matches in South Carolina (4-1-1).

Leading the League: Redshirt junior Conner Domaleski currently ranks first in the Peach Belt Conference in saves and save percentage, keeping 10 shots out of the back of the net for a .909 save percentage. Eren Ozer is tied for first in the league in assists with two on the young season. Donovan Odier ranks second in the conference in goals scored with two, both of which came against North Greenville.

Road Openers: North Georgia is 5-6-3 in their first game on the road in a season in the NCAA era. The Nighthawks last won a road opener in 2017 when they defeated Southern Wesleyan, 2-1, on August 31.
