Game Preview: The University of North Georgia women's soccer team will take on two Peach Belt Conference teams this week, traveling to Georgia College before battling UNC Pembroke at home Saturday afternoon.

Promotions: Saturday will serve as Soccer Alumni Day. In conjunction with UNG Family Day also on Saturday, any soccer alumni will receive free admission to the doubleheader and will also be recognized during the doubleheader.

Rankings: The Nighthawks split last week's games, falling on the road to No. 16 Lenoir-Rhyne, 2-0, before bouncing back against Francis Marion, shutting out the Patriots by a 3-0 scoreline.

Georgia College: Under new head coach Tinna Gallagher, Georgia College has started the season at 1-4- 2, but the Bobcats have not lost in three straight matches. GC defeated North Greenville, 3-1, before drawing with West Georgia and Lander. Cassie Balzano leads the Bobcats with three goals and an assist in the seven matches so far. North Georgia is 10-5-3 against Georgia College all-time, winning seven straight in the series. The Nighthawks last fell in 2012, 3-2, at home and have not lost on Bobcat Field since 2009.

UNC Pembroke: UNC Pembroke is 5-1 headed into a Wednesday night matchup at USC Aiken. The Braves knocked off Columbus State at home in their PBC opener. UNCP's lone loss was to Lenoir-Rhyne earlier this season. Riley Seering leads the Braves in goals scored with three, while Katy Ryan has two goals and an assist. The Nighthawks are 5-9-3 against the Braves all-time and have lost three straight in the series, including both matchups last year on the road. North Georgia hasn't lost to UNCP at home since 2009.

Statistics: North Georgia ranks first in the league in save percentage and shutout percentage. They rank second in assists per game, goals-against-average and total assists. Morgan Ramby leads the Peach Belt in save percentage at .870. Taylor Malasek leads the league and is third in the nation in game-winners with three. She is second in the league in goals per game and total goals.

PBC Shutouts: The Nighthawks and Albany State are the only teams in the Peach Belt having yet to concede a goal in league play this season. Albany State defeated Georgia Southwestern, 2-0, in their only conference match to date.
