Game Preview: The University of North Georgia men's soccer team looks to snap its two-match losing skid as they take on Clayton State Saturday evening in Peach Belt Conference action at the UNG Soccer Complex.

Last Week: North Georgia had two setbacks last week as Emmanuel beat the Nighthawks, 3-1, in Dahlonega before Flagler won in overtime, 4-3, after North Georgia had fought back from down 3-1 to force extra time.
 
Scouting Clayton State: The Lakers are 2-4-1 on the season, but they won their only PBC match so far, a 3-2 win over Georgia Southwestern in their last match.

Series Versus Clayton State: Clayton State leads the all-time series, 14-2-2, but UNG has won two of the last three matchups, including a 5-2 win at Clayton State last season. North Georgia is 0-5-2 at home against the Lakers.
 
Alumni Night: Saturday's game is Soccer Alumni Night, where the soccer programs will honor former players during halftime. The men's program will also present the Tom C. Montgomery Scholarship to two players at halftime.

PBC Standings: North Georgia is in a four-way tie for fifth in the league with USC Aiken, Francis Marion and Georgia Southwestern at 0-1. All teams have played just one match in conference action.

PBC Statistical Standings: The Nighthawks continue to lead the Peach Belt Conference in shots per match (19.1) and corner kicks (53). Matt Sharman leads the PBC in saves with 39 and is fifth in save percentage at .736.
