Box Score ORLANDO - After sweeping through doubles, the University of North Georgia women's tennis team won the first two singles matches to end Wednesday's match against Augustana at a drop-dead score of 5-0.

Emma Etelalahti and Lexa Loden got things started with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles which was closely followed by an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles by Cibeles Zuddy and Adrienne Bofinger. Holly Bennett and Vaishali Jorge found themselves in a tight match at the top flight but pulled out an 8-6 win to give the Nighthawks a 3-0 lead headed to singles.

Bennett made quick work of her opponent at the second tier of singles, winning 6-1, 6-1. Judita Barrios ended the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles. When the match was dropped after the 5-0 lead for UNG, North Georgia led in two of the four remaining matches as well.

North Georgia will jump back into Peach Belt Conference play in one week when they travel to Augusta on March 21 for a 12:30 match against the Jaguars.
