The Nighthawks got off to a hot start, securing the doubles point at No. 1 and No. 2 with a pair of identical results to yesterday's quarterfinals.

Emily Bush and Linn Goerdes continued their undefeated doubles run in tournament play with a 6-0 win to start the day. Anastasiia Opolska and Olesya Stokusova kept things rolling in a 6-2 decision to clinch the point for North Georgia. Sofia Giraldo and Victoria Niox-Chateau were well in control of their court with a 5-1 lead before play was halted.

In singles, the No. 2 seed Saints started to come alive with four straight set wins to advance to the tournament championship.

At No. 1, Opolska fell in the first matchup to No. 23 nationally ranked Eryka Kruk 6-2, 6-1.

After falling in her first set 6-2, Giraldo rallied for a 6-0 win in the second and a 6-2 victory in the tiebreaker to clinch another singles point for UNG.

Goerdes and Sofia Balsera went back and forth at No. 4, with each player blanking one another 6-0 to force the tiebreaker. Goerdes battled but was ultimately defeated in the final set 6-3.

Flagler finished things off at No. 2 and No. 6 in two hard-fought matchups featuring Stokusova and Bush. Stokusova saw her defeat 6-3, 7-5 in a nationally ranked matchup with No. 15 Elena Ondobo, and Bush was just edged out by Ornella Lomenzo at No. 6, 6-4, 7-6.
