DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) women's tennis player Anastasiia Opolska has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced following the release of its final national rankings.

The ITA awards All-America honors in singles to student-athletes who finish among the top 20 in the final ITA National Singles Rankings. Opolska secured the distinction after finishing the season ranked No. 16 nationally in singles competition.

Competing at the No. 1 singles position throughout the season, Opolska posted a 14-8 record while leading the Nighthawks against the nation's top competition. Her strong performance earned her Peach Belt Conference First Team All-Conference honors in singles.

Opolska also excelled in doubles play, compiling a 17-5 record at the No. 1 doubles position. Partnering with Olesya Stokusova, the duo closed the season on an eight-match winning streak and earned Peach Belt Conference First Team All-Conference recognition in doubles.

The All-America honor caps another outstanding season for Opolska, who played a key role in the success of the North Georgia women's tennis program throughout the 2025-26 campaign. Her recognition places her among the top Division II women's tennis players in the country and adds another national accolade to the Nighthawks' storied tradition of excellence.
