Game Preview: The University of North Georgia men's soccer team opens Peach Belt Conference tournament play at home for the third straight year. The Nighthawks will battle Clayton State Tuesday night.
Seedings: North Georgia will be the No. 3 seed in the tournament after winning a tiebreaker over Francis Marion. The two teams ended tied at 12 points, but since UNG won, 5-2, nearly a month ago, the Nighthawks earned the higher seed.
PBC Tournament History: North Georgia has made the tournament in each of the last eight seasons and 12 of the last 13 seasons. The Nighthawks have hosted a quarterfinal matchup four times prior to this season, including hosting every season since 2016. North Georgia is 3-1 in quarterfinal matchups at home with the only loss coming to Clayton State in 2011. UNG is 0-3 against the Lakers all-time in the tournament.

The winner of Tuesday's game will go down to Evans, Georgia, and Blanchard Woods Park to battle in the semifinals against No. 2 Lander.
