Game Preview: The 21st-ranked University of North Georgia women's soccer team looks to continue its winning ways with two matches this week. The Nighthawks will take on West Georgia Wednesday evening before a Senior Day showdown against Lander Saturday afternoon.

Last Week: The Nighthawks went 2-0 on the week again, defeating Georgia Southwestern and USC Aiken by a combined score of 14-1.
 
Scouting West Georgia: The Wolves are 4-4-2 on the year with wins over Montevallo and UAH and draws to Clayton State and Rollins. They took a 1-0 loss to No. 4 West Florida 10 days ago.
 
Series Versus West Georgia: North Georgia has never lost to West Georgia in the six-match series, going 5-0-1 against the Wolves all-time. North Georgia has won four straight, including a 3-2 win last year in Carrollton. The two teams have only played twice in Dahlonega, a 0-0 draw in 2008 and a 5-1 Nighthawk win in 2014.

Scouting Lander: The Bearcats are 7-1-1 on the year and 2-1-1 in league play. Their only loss came to No. 4 Columbus State, while their draw came to then-ranked No. 22 Georgia College.
 
Series Versus Lander: The Nighthawks and Bearcats are tied, 7-7, in the all-time series, but UNG has won three straight, scoring three or more goals in each of the last three matchups. North Georgia is 7-1 against Lander when scoring two or more goals in the match.

PBC Statistical Leaders: The Nighthawks continue to lead the Peach Belt Conference in goals scored, points, shots per game and corner kicks. UNG is tied for the league lead in assists with Columbus State.

United Soccer Coaches Rankings: The Nighthawks are currently ranked No. 21 in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll. North Georgia also stayed at No. 3 in the Southeast Region poll behind No. 3 Columbus State and No. 12 Carson-Newman.

PBC Standings: North Georgia is still tied atop the PBC standings with Columbus State and Flagler, although the Nighthawks and Cougars have a game in hand over the Saints. Lander is tied with Georgia College for fourth with seven points at 2-1-1 on the year in league play.

NCAA Statistical Standings: North Georgia sports the second best scoring offense in the nation at 4.13 goals per match. The Nighthawks also have the fourth most goals, the sixth most points and the second most points per game.

VanHorn Named PBC Player of the Week Again: Renee VanHorn was named the Peach Belt Player of the Week Monday by the league office. VanHorn pounded home four goals with an assist as the No. 23 Nighthawks picked up a pair of conference wins last week. The senior forward from Marietta scored twice and added an assist in a 7-1 win at Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday, then added two more goals in a 7-0 win over USC Aiken on Saturday. She took a total of 12 shots with seven of those on goal and extended her scoring streak to four games.
