CHATTANOOGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia women's tennis team wrapped up a successful Scenic City College Tennis Spring Break Showcase on Saturday with a quick 7-0 win over Belmont Abbey at the Champions Club Tennis Complex at Rivermont Park.
The win extends UNG's winning streak to 11 matches as the Nighthawks remain a perfect 11-0 on the season.
North Georgia made quick work of the doubles point claiming all three matches.
It was much of the same in singles, with the Nighthawks claiming five victories in straight sets.
Svetlana Teterina completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-7, 1-0 (6) win in the fifth singles line.
North Georgia will take a week off before facing West Florida on Mar. 23 in a neutral site match at Columbus State.
