COLUMBUS, Ga. – The No. 25 University of North Georgia men's tennis team ended its season at the NCAA Tournament's Southeast Regional #1 after falling 4-0 against No. 4 Columbus State in the Round of 32 at CSU's Walden Tennis Center.
Columbus State took the #2 and #3 flights in doubles to take the early 1-0 lead, adding three more in singles to advance.
The Nighthawks battled throughout the match but fell in the #2, #3 and #4 flights after dropping the doubles point.
North Georgia (9-9) ends the season after appearing in the tenth NCAA tournament in program history, earning three wins over ranked opponents and winning the program's 11th NCAA postseason match.
