DAHLONEGA – It was the second doubleheader sweep of the week by the No. 2 University of North Georgia softball team as they defeated Christian Brothers 6-0 and 11-2, wrapping up a 22-game homestand at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park. The Nighthawks continued their run of pitching performances, with 
Delaney Heaberlin (8-0) highlighting the night, earning a one-hit complete game shutout in the first game against CBU.
North Georgia, 6 CBU, 0
Heaberlin shined once again, throwing a full seven innings of shutout pitching, allowing just one hit in the first inning on her way to her eighth win of the season. 
After a slow night offensively the night before, the Nighthawks lineup began to come alive, with 
Madi Perry, 
Sydney Blair and 
Madison Simmons anchoring the lineup with two hits each. All three Nighthawks added an RBI to their totals, with 
Sydney Blair scoring two of UNG's six runs.
 North Georgia, 11 CBU, 2
A quick start for North Georgia gave the Nighthawks a healthy lead early, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first. 17 different Nighthawks took the field in the game, with Blair and 
Aniston Wright recording two hits to lead the offense. 
Jolie Lester and 
Grayson Perry took advantage of their opportunity at the plate, driving in two runs a piece in their lone at-bats in the game. Perry's at-bat featured her second career homerun as the sophomore put one on the concourse in left field to add the 11th and final run for North Georgia.
Kristen Davis (6-1) and 
Aniston Wright pitched in the game, with Davis earning the win after pitching three innings allowing no runs and no hits. Wright finished it out in her two innings of work, allowing one hit and two runs.

A three-game Peach Belt Conference series at Augusta (13-11, 0-6 PBC) awaits with the Nighthawks with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday (Mar. 11) with the series finale on Sunday (Mar. 12). First pitch for Saturday's matchup is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
