DUE WEST, S.C. – The University of North Georgia men's soccer team defeated Erskine 3-0 on the road as the defense earned its first clean sheet of the season paired with the Nighthawks scoring three goals for the third consecutive game.
Payge Sinclair scored his second goal of the week just one minute and 21 seconds into the contest. It was the first goal scored in the first half this season for the Nighthawks and gave UNG a lead it would hold onto until the final whistle. Hazel Ley earned his first clean sheet of the season.
Haris Osmanbasic and Will Bentley scored their first goal for the Nighthawks this season, with Joe McInnes earning an assist after a two-goal game against Mount Olive.
UNG moves to 3-1 on the season, while Erskine falls to 0-2.
