ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The University of North Georgia women's soccer team came up on the short end of a 4-2 Peach Belt Conference contest at No. 23 Flagler on Saturday afternoon.
Flagler netted a score in the first minute of the match and added another on a penalty kick at the ten minute mark to jump out to an early lead.
The lead would push to 4-0 with Flagler goals in the 16
th and 24
th minute.
North Georgia (4-2-1, 2-1-0) got on the board in the 43rd minute when Megan Dumond netted a goal on an assist from
Alexa Aronoff to set a 4-1 score going into the second half.
The Nighthawks scored the final goal of the day in the 71st minute when
Abbie Crane assisted
Skylar Abbott who shot from outside the right post, finalizing the 4-2 score.
UNG falls to 4-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in league play while the Saints improve to 3-1-2, 2-0-1.

• Flagler's Andrea Fernandez netted three goals and tallied an assist for the Saints.
• In goal,
Sierra Fowler had 10 saves while Flagler's Madison North made two stops in the net for the Saints.
