CHARLESTON, S.C. - Maddie Ananthasane finished in fourth place as the University of North Georgia women's golf team climbed up to eighth place on the final leaderboard at the Low Tide Intercollegiate Tuesday.
Ananthasane shot a final round of 1-under 71, carding two birdies on the day. She finished at 5-over for the tournament and the top PBC player in the field.
North Georgia climbed up to eighth overall. Limestone won the event by 29 shots over Lenoir-Rhyne. Anderson finished in third, while Columbus State and Carson-Newman tied for fifth.
Kennedy Noe (T-29) and
Ellie Rippee (T-44) also earned top 50 finishes.
North Georgia will hit the course again March 14 at the Emerald Coast Intercollegiate.
