TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Frank Champion tallied a double-double, his second of the season, with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the University of North Georgia men's basketball to a 76-58 win over Erskine on the final day of the Peach Belt/Conference Carolinas Challenge hosted by North Greenville. North Georgia scored six straight points to open the game and jumped out to a 20-point lead in the first half to spark their 18-point victory.
Giancarlo Bastianoni was second on the team in scoring with 17 points off the bench.
Sutton Smith contributed in rebounds with nine.
