CENTRAL, S.C. – AJ White's 27 points and a school record for team field goal percentage highlighted the University of North Georgia men's basketball team's 103-81 road victory over Southern Wesleyan. The Nighthawks shot 75.9% from the field in the game, breaking a record set in 2018 against Columbus State. UNG also reached the century mark in scoring in regulation for the first time since 2018.
White shot 10-of-13 from the field, making all four of his three-point attempts, adding four rebounds and three assists to his stat line. Four different Nighthawks finished with double-digit scoring in the game.
Frank Champion scored 19 points and howed his worth on the defensive end recording, two blocks and one steal. He led the team in rebounds (7) for the third straight game this season.
Giancarlo Bastianoni finished with 14 points shooting 6-of-7 from the field and leading the team with five assists.
Case Roach rounded out the double-digit scorers for UNG with 13 points.
