DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia Department of Athletics has announced spectator policies for the 2021 soccer season ahead of Thursday's home opener for the men against Erskine at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park.
Full Capacity: Continuing to follow local, state and federal guidelines, UNG is opening up its facilities for full capacity for all fans to support the Nighthawks. Masking and social distancing is strongly encouraged.
Viewing Areas: Spectators will be able to view the game from the midfield bleachers at the UNG Soccer Complex or from the grass hill above the east end of the field (adjacent to upper parking lot).
Field House Construction Zone: As the facilities at North Georgia continue to improve year after year, areas of the UNG Soccer Complex are under construction. All construction areas are clearly marked with restricted access to spectators.
Tickets: Ticketing has transitioned to a fully mobile model with tickets on sale now for $10 for a single game. Seniors ages 65 or older, middle and high school students and military members can purchase discounted single game tickets at $7 each. Season ticket options are also available for both the men's and women's seasons.
All tickets must be purchased online as there will be no cash transactions or walk-up ticket sales. For those fans that have not purchased tickets prior to arrival at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park, QR codes will be available to scan at the gates that will direct you to purchase your tickets online at UNGAthletics.com/Tickets. Event staff will be on site to assist with ticket purchases.
UNG students, faculty and staff will continue to gain free admission to all home events using the Campus Groups app (UNG Connect) on their phone and will no longer need to show their Nighthawk ID card.
Parking: Fans may opt to park either in the upper paved parking lot above the UNG Soccer Complex just off of Morrison Moore Parkway or in the gravel parking lot below the indoor hitting facility off Barlow Road. Ticketing checkpoints will be at both locations.
Restrooms & Concessions: Due to construction behind the press box at the UNG Soccer Complex, restrooms and concessions will be located in the lower parking area behind the west end of the field near the scoreboard. Nighthawk Concessions accepts cash, all major credit cards and UNG Dining Dollars.
Pets: With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in any section of a campus athletic facility. Our pet policy is a mandated university-wide policy that we must adhere by and was established to provide for the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors, and for the protection, efficient use and enjoyment of the campuses by insuring that pets do not become a threat, health hazard, nuisance or distraction to University events.
