12/9/2025 1:04:00 PM

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its Women's Soccer All-America teams following the 2025 season with the University of North Georgia's (UNG) Alex Clark earning first team honors.  Clark shined for the Nighthawks this season, starting all 22 games and recording three goals and seven assists for a total of 13 points.

Headlining the selections and earning the Ron Lenz National Player of the Year award was Catawba junior forward Bree Ehmer.

A total of 39 student-athletes across the three D2CCA All-America squads were recognized, representing 31 institutions. Eight schools - Colorado School of Mines, Dallas Baptist, Fairmont State, Gannon, Grand Valley State, Jefferson, Minnesota State and West Florida - led the way with two honorees each.

Among those selected, only five earned D2CCA All-America accolades in previous seasons. Ashland's Dani Hicks, Colorado School of Mines' Natalie Rouse and Jefferson's Carly Yeager were two-time honorees, while Bella Campos from Colorado School of Mines and Gannon's Grace Emmanuel were recognized for the third time in their careers.

Ehmer and Campos were two of the four forwards named to the first team. They were joined by Elle Smith of Indiana (Pa.) and Western Washington's Morgan Manalili. The midfielders were Nikki Dedes (Jefferson), Anne Louthan (Dallas Baptist), Ella Fadale (Gannon) and Sofia Suarez (Nova Southeastern). The defensive backline included Rouse (Colorado School of Mines), Parker Coe (Dallas Baptist), Kacy Lauer (Grand Valley State) and Clark, while Minnesota State goalkeeper Lauren McAlpine rounded out the first team.

The Ron Lenz National Player of the Year award was named for long-time South Dakota State sports information director Ron Lenz in 2008. Lenz was instrumental in the foundation of the NCAA Division II All-America program, which honors outstanding student-athletes across eight NCAA Division II sports.

Athletic communication professionals from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three D2CCA All-America teams. The process began at the regional level with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education.

The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
