DAHLONEGA - Lander's Max Bolton recorded a hat trick as the Bearcats pushed past the University of North Georgia men's soccer team Monday evening, 5-0, at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park.
Bolton scored in the 44th minute to get Lander on the board late in the first half. The Bearcats poured it on in the second half with the next two goals coming within 30 seconds of one another in the 62nd minute. Luke Jordan scored an unassisted goal before Mohssine Samiki found Marco Gueli wide open for the 3-0 lead.
From there, Bolton finished off his hat trick by scoring in the 70th and 83rd minutes with assists from Alistair Danjon and Rasmus Andersson, respectively.
NOTES
- After being tied 4-4 in shots after 45 minutes, Lander out-shot the Nighthawks, 14-1, in the second half.
- Lander continues its perfect start to the season, improving to 4-0 with four clean sheets.

The Nighthawks will return home Monday for a 3 p.m. matchup with Clayton State.
