Men's Soccer Drops 2-1 Decision to Young Harris

DAHLONEGA - For the sixth time in the last seven meetings, the University of North Georgia men's soccer team and Young Harris played to a one-goal affair with Monday's match going in favor of the visiting Mountain Lions, 2-1, at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park.

Young Harris wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, netting a goal in the opening moments of the match as Tony Barry found Saad Mazianne for a wide open shot at the net.

North Georgia responded as Che Richards took advantage of a bad touch by the YHC keeper and scored on an open net to tie things up in the 27th minute. Just 10 minutes later, though, the Mountain Lions found the game winner as PBC Preseason All-Conference honoree Sondre Olsen scored in the 37th minute to give YHC the lead that they would not relinquish.

NOTES
- The Mountain Lions had two more excellent chances that were saved off the line by Michael Walsh. Rafael Callegari also had three saves between the posts.

- Young Harris totaled nine corner kicks while UNG earned just three.

- A total of 33 fouls were called in the game, 21 of which were on the visitors.
